It's always nice to read about sweet (semi)retired, domestic boys, and the sex was smokin' hot as usual.
Something about this phrase just tickled me:
...because while Dean had made peace with it and Sam had never seemed to have an actual problem at all...
Maybe it's because I think it's actually a pretty good piece of characterization, of Dean accommodating himself to reality in the face of what Sam (and to a lesser extent, he) wants/needs, and Sam already with the attitude of little-brother entitlement, that he gets what he wants, or even that it's already his and God help anyone who tries to get in the way of that. Wow, that was a lot of explanation for one little line. :)
