This was great! I'm glad I bookmarked this to read over the weekend, since a rushjob would have just made it less enjoyable. :) I guessed the Trickster early-ish, but wasn't sure, and that didn't prepare me at all for what was going on with Nick. I thought this was nice and tight, and the way it played out (minus the Sam/Dean) really just felt like an episode of the show-- humour, OCs coming in and out, Sam'n'Dean separated but still looking out for each other. I'm so happy to see a use of the Trickster in this way, because I feel like fandom has gotten stuck on the idea of Gabriel being the ONLY Trickster out there, and they're just too much fun for me to let go.
