In case you didn't know, this is a friends-locked journal. Has been for a long time. Occasionally, I post a public entry, but it usually is a bit of nothing. Why do I friends-lock everything? Because there are far too many creepy people in this world.

Now, who the hell am I?

I'm a college-age non-student wannabe writer, currently involved in a relationship and trying to make a living at a job I hate. And all this is fascinating, no? :) You falling asleep yet?

Online, I write fanfiction. Worse yet, I write slash and yaoi fanfiction. I started as an anime fan, writing for Yu Yu Hakusho back before it was butchered into English, moved on to Weiss Kreuz before it was butchered and dabbled in a few others before leaving the anime circles entirely. I stopped writing for awhile, before I found something more taboo than yaoi anime fanfiction--RPS. Yeah, baby.

I now write on Rockfic.com under the name Dragonspell. It's mostly Guns N' Roses, though I do throw in a bit of Cinderella every once and awhile. I also mod the Hairbands forum and co-mod the Inquiring Minds on the message boards.

My interests, besides the fanfiction and the writing, are, of course, 80s hairmetal and hard rock (though I tend to hate the powerballads--if it don't got a 'boom', I don't want to hear it), Role-playing games (FF7 is my shit baby!), my boyfriend (this is in order, right? ^_^ ), my cats, snarky movie reviews, well-written rants and, if you ask nicely, you may even be able to wake-up the dinosaur of an anime fan buried deep down (though I wouldn't recommend it if you don't want to hear about "how things used to be").

I'm crazy about Slash, Duff, and Izzy from Guns N' Roses, Baz from Skid Row (um...is the icon a big enough clue?!) as well as Rachel Bolan, Tom Keifer and Eric Brittingham of Cinderella, Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, and, somewhere in there some other non-music guys. :) Oh, and John Stewart is my fantasy lover. Smart guys seriously turn me on. I absolutely love cute nerds, which is why I date the guy I do.

Above all else I value loyalty and honesty. I value my family and my friends. I love people with a sense of humor, who know enough to laugh at the world around them. I like people who like me for who I am, not who they think I should be.
