Just a quick question from reading FAR too many fics in the Pit:  Why do the fantwits not understand that if they feel the intense need to state in their summary that an OC is NOT a Mary Sue/Marty Stu, it probably IS?   But  still, I have to almost thank them for warning me...

Edit:  And, since we're one the subject of Pit summaries--What the fuck is up with the "What if..." summaries?  What if Sasuke was the leader a homophobic gang? (what?)  What if L was just a poor college student?  (...um.)  What if Mello was sane? (Then he probably wouldn't be Mello...)  What if L was an evil rapist that hated sweets and Light's an innocent virgin caught in his game???   (...when HELL freezes over!)

My typical response to to any of those is "And WHAT IF PIGS FUCKING FLEW???"  What if, what if, what if. 

...I could learn to hate that phrase.

...Yes.  I know I've been spending too much time at the Pit.  ...It will probably take months for me to recover completely.  ...If I recover at all.
