Bo~~~!

Bo lost! HOW THE HELL COULD BO LOSE?! To Carrie?! She has the freakin' stage personality of a wall! And like we need another freakin' blonde pop star deluded into thinking she could possibly be country!

I'd buy Bo's cd. I won't buy hers. She really, seriously, doesn't interest me.

:) It's better that Bo lost, though. 'Cause if you win American Idol, you basically have just sold your soul--they own your ass for like your next 50 albums or something. Plus, they seriously would have turned him into something he wasn't--a fucking pop-star with an "edge." This way, he can sign to a label on his terms. Plus, with all the publicity he's gotten and the fanbase, he'll be snapped up quick.

Go, Bo! :) I'll be waiting for your album!

It's just as well. We have enough posers!

Hey, that was pretty smart of Bo. Now he's got tons of opportunities--and he owns his own ass. :D

I almost think he did it purposely. It's one thing to use a competition like this to get publicity, quite another to sign over your soul, yeah? :)

[very much... dislikes American Idol] [that's putting it mildly, but Rick tries to be polite at all times]

Oh, I hate it, too. I just like Bo. Dude, if my mother hadn't been watching it that one day and I hadn't heard him sing, I never would have even known who he was.

:) I know, I make no sense.

All the best to Bo, but I've just never liked the idea of winning fame through some "talent contest." I subscribe to the Blood, Sweat, and Tears Theory: A band must work its own way up through the club/concert circuit.
