Sin City

Watched Sin City last night. Hated it.

Stilted dialogue drives me crazy, people. And I think the ultra-violence really, really turned me off. Also didn't like the rather disjointed plot and how it dragged on and on.

That said, this movie is a comic book. It's a comic book that moves. And I suppose that works for it. It's pretty to look at (if you ignore the gore). If I was a fan of the comic books, I might actually like this. This is how comic book movie adaptations should be made. However, not my thing.

That said, life is too short to listen to sucky music.

The stilted dialogue, especially toward the beginning between Bruce Willis and Michael Madson, was tough to sit through, definitely.

I know. That's where my main accusation of stilted dialogue comes from. Just a few minutes in and I was already "This sucks!" But I stuck around for the rest anyway.
